Despite being the best in this comparison, it must be noted that it's also an a lot older, a little heavier and just a little bit thicker phone. The Sony Xperia 1 has a bit better CPU than Honor 50, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

Xperia 1 has a better looking display than Honor 50, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840px and a much higher screen pixel density. Honor 50 counts with a lot better camera than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing photographs and videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Honor 50 also counts with a way more mega pixels back facing camera and faster 30 frames per second video frame rate.

Xperia 1 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Honor 50, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Xperia 1 also has a SD extension slot that holds up to 512 GB. Honor 50 has longer battery performance than Xperia 1, because it has a 29 percent larger battery size.
