The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a global score of 75.8, which is slightly better than Honor 50's general score of 74.5. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Honor 50 has Android 11 version, providing lots of additional features and optimized performance. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, it must be told that it's also a way older, a bit thicker and just a little heavier phone.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro counts with a screen that is very similar to Honor 50's display, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro has a little bit smaller display and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2160px, it also counts with a quite greater pixel density. Honor 50 features a little bit more storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory.
The Honor 50 features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Honor 50 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Honor 50 features just a bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity. Honor 50 captures much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, because it has a lot higher video definition, a bigger aperture for better low light photography and a way more megapixels back facing camera.
