The Galaxy S III is slightly better than Honor 8, having a overall score of 69.7 against 65.7. The Galaxy S III is a incredibly older and thicker phone than the Honor 8, but Samsung was able to make it somewhat lighter anyway. Galaxy S III counts with a little more vivid display than Honor 8, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a lot lower screen density and a way worse 1280 x 720px resolution.
The Honor 8 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy S III, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with more RAM and a larger number of faster cores. The Honor 8 has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S III, because it has 64 GB internal memory and an external memory card slot that holds up to 128 GB.
The Honor 8 captures much better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy S III, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Honor 8 also has a back facing camera with lot more megapixels, a larger aperture to capture better low light captures and videos, a bigger back camera sensor capturing higher quality pictures and better 60 frames per second video frame rates.
Honor 8 features a much longer battery life than Galaxy S III, because it has a 3000mAh battery size instead of 2100mAh.
