HTC One M9 has a global score of 77.7, which is much better than Honor 8X's 67.3 score. The HTC One M9 is a way older and thicker phone than the Honor 8X, but HTC managed to build it somewhat lighter anyway. The HTC One M9 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Honor 8X, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64-bit CPU and an extra graphics co-processor.
HTC One M9 features a better display than Honor 8X, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a way smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixel number in each inch in the screen. Honor 8X counts with a way bigger storage for games and applications than HTC One M9, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The Honor 8X counts with superior battery life than HTC One M9, because it has a 32 percent bigger battery capacity. The HTC One M9 captures clearer pictures and videos than Honor 8X, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the HTC One M9 also counts with a way better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition.
HTC One M9 is a bit more expensive than Honor 8X, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
