Comparison review
The Galaxy A42 is much better than Honor Magic 6 Pro, getting an 87 score against 76.6. Galaxy A42 is a just a bit thinner and lighter cellphone than Honor Magic 6 Pro. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A42 has the older 11 version while Honor Magic 6 Pro has Android 14.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro has a bit better CPU than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor Magic 6 Pro also has 8 GB more RAM. The Honor Magic 6 Pro counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, because it has a lot greater pixel density, a much better 1280 x 2800px resolution and a little bit larger screen.
Honor Magic 6 Pro features a quite bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A42, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity. The Honor Magic 6 Pro features a little bit better camera than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Honor Magic 6 Pro also has better video frame rate, a higher 50 mega-pixels resolution camera and a way larger aperture.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro features just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy A42, because it has a 5600mAh battery capacity against 5000mAh.
