Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro is just a bit better than Honor Magic6 Pro, with a general score of 78.7 against 76.6. Both devices in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a newer 8.0 Oreo version while Honor Magic6 Pro has Android 14 version. Huawei Mate 9 Pro's design is somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than Honor Magic6 Pro.
The Honor Magic6 Pro counts with just a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have 8 cores, the Honor Magic6 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper screen than Honor Magic6 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a just a bit higher pixels density.

Honor Magic6 Pro counts with a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Honor Magic6 Pro also has a way bigger diafragm aperture, higher video frame rate, a way bigger sensor which offers a lot better image and video quality and a camera with much more megapixels.
Honor Magic6 Pro has a much longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because it has a 40% more battery size.
