Galaxy Note8 is much better than the Honor Note 8, getting a global score of 83 against 65.5. Galaxy Note8's design is newer and lighter, but also thicker than the Honor Note 8. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Note8 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Honor Note 8 has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version, so it provides the user some extra features.
The Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better display than Honor Note 8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better pixel density and a slightly better 1440 x 2960 resolution. Honor Note 8 counts with a better storage for applications and games than Galaxy Note8, because although it has an external SD slot that allows 128 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Honor Note 8 and the Galaxy Note8 count with quite similar processing units, and although the Galaxy Note8 has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores. Galaxy Note8 shoots way better videos and photos than Honor Note 8, because although it has a back camera with a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better photos and videos in low-light environments and a lot higher 3840x2160 video quality.
The Honor Note 8 has longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs a bit more than the Honor Note 8, but you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
