Both devices we compare here include Android OS (Operating System), but the LG G8 ThinQ has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Honor View30 Pro has Android 10. Even when the LG G8 ThinQ and the Honor View30 Pro were only released 8 months apart, the LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit thinner and lighter.

LG G8 ThinQ features a much better screen than Honor View30 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ has a way bigger storage for games and applications than Honor View30 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1,95 TB.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a processing unit that's just as good as Honor View30 Pro's processing unit, and although the LG G8 ThinQ has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Honor View30 Pro takes better photographs and videos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures or video in low-light situations and lower 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Honor View30 Pro also counts with a lot bigger sensor and a lot better resolution back facing camera.
