LG V40 ThinQ is a little bit better than the Honor View30 Pro, getting an 81.2 score against 74.6. The LG V40 ThinQ is an older cellphone than the Honor View30 Pro, but LG managed to make it somewhat thinner and lighter. Both of these phones include the same Android 10 operating system. LG V40 ThinQ features a bit more vivid screen than Honor View30 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a much bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Honor View30 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG V40 ThinQ's processor is just as good as Honor View30 Pro's processing unit, and although the LG V40 ThinQ has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.

Honor View30 Pro counts with greater battery lifetime than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 24% bigger battery size. The Honor View30 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than LG V40 ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rate and a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Honor View30 Pro also counts with a way larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher resolution camera.
