Galaxy M40 is better than Honor View30 Pro, having an 85 score against 74.6. Both of these phones come with the same Android 10 OS, so both should provide the user the same OS features. Galaxy M40 is a somewhat lighter and thinner device than Honor View30 Pro, even when both of them were released only 5 months apart.
The Honor View30 Pro features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy M40, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Honor View30 Pro also has more RAM. Honor View30 Pro captures clearer videos and photos than Galaxy M40, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Honor View30 Pro also has a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a bigger diafragm aperture and a camera with a better 40 MP resolution.
The Honor View30 Pro has greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 4100mAh of battery capacity.
