Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is way better than Honor View30 Pro, getting a 94.6 score against 74.6. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has newer 11 version while Honor View30 Pro has Android 10 version. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2's construction is newer and noticeably thinner, but also way heavier than Honor View30 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Honor View30 Pro count with quite similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a bigger display and a higher 1768 x 2208 resolution. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 has just a little better hardware performance than Honor View30 Pro, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Honor View30 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal storage. The Honor View30 Pro captures slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has slower video frame rate and a tinier back-facing camera sensor taking lower quality videos and pictures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Honor View30 Pro also counts with a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos and a way more megapixels back camera.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a bit superior battery lifetime than Honor View30 Pro, because it has a 10 percent greater battery capacity.
