The Xperia 1 is better than the Honor View30 Pro, having a score of 82.6 against 74.6. The Xperia 1 construction is just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Honor View30 Pro, although both of them were released with only a couple months difference. Xperia 1 features a processing unit that is very similar to the Honor View30 Pro one, and although the Xperia 1 has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.

The Sony Xperia 1 features a better screen than Honor View30 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better screen density and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840. Xperia 1 counts with a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Honor View30 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory, the Xperia 1 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 512 GB.

The Honor View30 Pro features a superior camera than Sony Xperia 1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and a F1.6 diafragm aperture, the Honor View30 Pro also has faster 30 frames per second video frame rate, a back-facing camera with a much better 40 megapixels resolution and a way larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Honor View30 Pro features improved battery duration than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 4100mAh battery size instead of 3330mAh.
