Xiaomi Mi 9 has an overall score of 83.2, which is much better than the Honor View30 Pro's 74.6 general score. Even though the Xiaomi Mi 9 and the Honor View30 Pro were released with only a couple months difference, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. The Xiaomi Mi 9's processing unit is very similar to the Honor View30 Pro one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 9 has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
Xiaomi Mi 9 has a little bit better looking screen than Honor View30 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display and a little lower 1080 x 2340px resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per display inch. Xiaomi Mi 9 has as much storage to install applications and games as the Honor View30 Pro, both of them have exactly the same internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Mi 9 captures slightly better photographs and videos than Honor View30 Pro, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same video quality and a 0.5 inches back camera sensor, the Xiaomi Mi 9 also counts with a more mega pixels back-facing camera and faster video frame rate.
Honor View30 Pro features improved battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 9, because it has a 24% larger battery capacity.
