Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a global score of 75.8, which is a little bit better than HTC 10's 75.7 general score. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) construction is a little lighter and somewhat thinner than HTC 10, although both of them were released only a couple of months apart. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)'s CPU is just as good as the HTC 10 one, because although the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has lesser RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores (although they are slower).
The HTC 10 counts with a little more vivid display than Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have a same size display, the HTC 10 also has a higher pixel amount in each screen inch and a better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The HTC 10 features a very superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the HTC 10 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a battery performance that is just as good as HTC 10's battery performance. HTC 10 has a better camera than Galaxy A5 (2017), because although it has a back camera with lot less mega pixels, it also counts with a much better (4K) video resolution and a bigger camera aperture.
