Comparison review
The Galaxy A7 (2017) has a global score of 75.8, which is just a bit better than HTC 10's 75.7 overall score. Although Galaxy A7 (2017) and the HTC 10 were released only a couple months apart, the Galaxy A7 (2017) construction is somewhat thinner but heavier. The HTC 10 has a much better looking display than Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher screen density and a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The HTC 10 and the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) feature quite similar processors, because although the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with 4 more processing cores (but slower). The HTC 10 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy A7 (2017), and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the HTC 10 also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
HTC 10 shoots better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), because although it has a way lower 12 megapixels resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture for better low-light captures and videos and a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has superior battery performance than HTC 10, because it has a 3600mAh battery size against 3000mAh.
