The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has an overall score of 80.4, which is a bit better than the HTC 10's 75.7 global score. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's design is newer and somewhat thinner, but just a little heavier than HTC 10. The HTC 10 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1440 x 2560, the HTC 10 also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
HTC 10 features a bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a little better processing power than HTC 10, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has 4 more processing cores.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit better battery lifetime than HTC 10, because it has a 3200mAh battery size. HTC 10 takes clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have a back facing camera with a 12 megapixels and the same video resolution, the HTC 10 also counts with a larger sensor shooting higher quality videos and pictures and higher video frame rate.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC 10. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, but if you don't you can save some money and get the HTC 10, letting go some features and specs.
