Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 Edge is much better than HTC 10, getting a score of 85.7 against 75.7. Even though Galaxy S6 Edge is older than HTC 10, it's construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a much better looking display than HTC 10, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a just a little greater pixels density.

Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better performing processing unit than HTC 10, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a higher number of cores , an extra graphics co-processor and a 64 bits CPU. The HTC 10 has a lot better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has a camera in the back with lot less mega pixels and a worse (4K) video resolution, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality and a bigger diafragm aperture for better captures and videos in poorly lited situations.

HTC 10 features a way bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S6 Edge, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1,95 TB. The HTC 10 features a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as HTC 10. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the HTC 10, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
