The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a bit better than the HTC 10, with a general score of 79.5 against 75.7. Even though Samsung Galaxy S7 and HTC 10 were released only a few months apart, Samsung Galaxy S7 is thinner and a little lighter. The Galaxy S7 counts with a little more vivid display than HTC 10, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1440 x 2560px resolution, the Galaxy S7 also counts with a just a bit greater screen density.
HTC 10 has a very superior memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the HTC 10 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. HTC 10 and Samsung Galaxy S7 feature extremely similar CPUs, both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy S7's battery life is just as good as the battery performance in HTC 10. The HTC 10 takes a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S7, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for shooting images or video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and a same resolution back facing camera, the HTC 10 also counts with higher video frame rates and a larger sensor.
Galaxy S7 not only is the best devices in this comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
