Comparison review

The Sony Xperia 5 II is much better than HTC 10, getting a overall score of 87.2 against 75.7. The Sony Xperia 5 II construction is noticeably newer and thinner, but just a little heavier than HTC 10. HTC 10 counts with a little bit better display than Sony Xperia 5 II, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a little higher resolution of 1440 x 2560.

Xperia 5 II counts with a little bit better hardware performance than HTC 10, because it has a higher number of cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Xperia 5 II has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC 10, because although it has an external memory slot that allows 1000 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.

The Xperia 5 II counts with a slightly better camera than HTC 10, and although they both have the same 120 frames per second video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video definition and a same resolution camera, the Xperia 5 II also has a lot larger back-facing camera sensor providing a lot better image quality and a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and video in poorly lited situations.

Xperia 5 II counts with improved battery lifetime than HTC 10, because it has a 33 percent bigger battery size.

Although Sony Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC 10. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the HTC 10, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
