Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a bit better than the HTC 10, with a 76 score against 75.7. Xiaomi Mi Note 2's body is just a little bit heavier but thinner than the HTC 10, and both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. HTC 10 has a lot better camera than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back camera with a way lower 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture and a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos.
HTC 10 features a much better storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi Note 2, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has a superior battery duration than HTC 10, because it has 4070mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC 10, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the HTC 10. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, otherwise you can save some money and get the HTC 10, letting go a couple features and specifications.
