The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is slightly better than the HTC Bolt, having a score of 77.5 against 75. Xiaomi Mi Max 2's body is heavier but just a little thinner than HTC Bolt, and they were released with only 7 months difference. HTC Bolt has a better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560 and a much better display density.

HTC Bolt takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the HTC Bolt also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better images and video in poorly lited situations and a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
