HTC One (M8) is a little bit better than HTC Butterfly, having a 71.6 score against 65.5. Even being the best in this review, the HTC One (M8) design is heavier and just a little thicker than the HTC Butterfly. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but HTC One (M8) has the newer 4.4.4 version while HTC Butterfly has Android 4.3 version, so it provides you a lot of extra features.
HTC One (M8) features a little sharper display than HTC Butterfly. Both have a screen of the same size, an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080px and the same screen pixels density. The HTC One (M8) has a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than HTC Butterfly, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 128 GB and 32 GB internal storage.
The HTC One (M8) features a bit better performance than HTC Butterfly, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and 4 cpu cores, the HTC One (M8) also has a much better 450 MHz graphics co-processor. HTC One (M8) has superior battery performance than HTC Butterfly, because it has a 29% greater battery capacity.
HTC One (M8) takes much better pictures and videos than HTC Butterfly, although it has a worse 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot lower 4 megapixels resolution back facing camera, they both have the same diafragm aperture.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, HTC One (M8) is also very cheap compared to the other devices, which makes it a no doubt choice.
