The Galaxy A71 is a lot better than the HTC Butterfly, getting an 87.5 score against 65.5. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS, but the Galaxy A71 has a more recent 11 version while HTC Butterfly has Android 4.3 version. The Galaxy A71 construction is somewhat thinner but notably heavier than the HTC Butterfly.

HTC Butterfly features a better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A71, because although it has a really smaller display and a little lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little greater pixel count per inch in the display. Samsung Galaxy A71 has a superior memory for applications, games, photos and videos than HTC Butterfly, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB and 112 GB more internal memory capacity.

Galaxy A71 features a little bit better performance than HTC Butterfly, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy A71 features a very superior battery lifetime than HTC Butterfly, because it has a 4500mAh battery size instead of 2020mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy A71 captures greater photographs and videos than HTC Butterfly, because it has a back facing camera with a much higher 64 mega-pixels resolution, a larger diafragm aperture and a way better 3840x2160 video quality.

The Galaxy A71 is a little more expensive than the HTC Butterfly, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
