Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is much better than HTC Desire 10 pro, having an 89.4 score against 74.3. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version while HTC Desire 10 pro has Android 6.0 Marshmallow, so it provides the user some additional features and improved performance. Even though the Huawei Mate X is incredibly newer than HTC Desire 10 pro, it is much heavier and much thicker.
Huawei Mate X features a bit better looking display than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a much bigger display, a just a bit better display density and a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480px. Huawei Mate X features a very superior storage for games and applications than HTC Desire 10 pro, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
Huawei Mate X features just a little better hardware performance than HTC Desire 10 pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has 4 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei Mate X captures a bit better pictures and videos than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a much better 40 MP resolution back facing camera, a larger aperture for better photography and video in poorly lited environments and a much larger camera sensor.
The Huawei Mate X features a way better battery performance than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a 50% bigger battery size.
