The Motorola Moto G 5G has an overall score of 81.5, which is slightly better than the HTC Desire 10 pro's 74.3 general score. Both devices in this review have Android operating system, but the Motorola Moto G 5G has the previous 10 version while HTC Desire 10 pro has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Even though Motorola Moto G 5G is newer than the HTC Desire 10 pro, it's incredibly thicker and heavier.
The Moto G 5G features just a bit better hardware performance than HTC Desire 10 pro. Both have 4 GB of RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. Moto G 5G counts with a display that is just as good as the display in HTC Desire 10 pro, because although the Moto G 5G has a quite lower display density, it also counts with a larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400px resolution.
The Motorola Moto G 5G has a lot better camera than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a lot higher 48 MP resolution back-facing camera and a way bigger diafragm aperture. The HTC Desire 10 pro counts with a better memory for apps and games than Moto G 5G, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the HTC Desire 10 pro also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
The Moto G 5G features a way better battery duration than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
