The Motorola Moto G8 Plus has an overall score of 77.6, which is just a bit better than the HTC Desire 10 pro's 74.3 global score. Although the Motorola Moto G8 Plus is newer than HTC Desire 10 pro, it is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. The Moto G8 Plus's processing unit is very similar to the processor in HTC Desire 10 pro, they have 4 GB of RAM and 8 cores.

HTC Desire 10 pro and Moto G8 Plus both count with quite similar displays, because although the Moto G8 Plus has a little inferior pixel amount per screen inch, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels. Motorola Moto G8 Plus has a greater camera than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a much more mega pixels back facing camera, a lot larger camera aperture for better low light photography and video and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
