The Galaxy S4 has an overall score of 79, which is a bit better than the HTC Desire 10 pro's score of 74.3. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but Galaxy S4 has the older 4.4 version while HTC Desire 10 pro has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Galaxy S4 is a noticeably lighter phone than HTC Desire 10 pro, but both are equally thin.
HTC Desire 10 pro features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S4, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and 2 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy S4 features a much better display than HTC Desire 10 pro, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also counts with a just a little greater pixels density.
The Galaxy S4 shoots just a bit better videos and photos than HTC Desire 10 pro, although it has a way smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors and a lot less megapixels resolution camera in the back, they both have a F2.2 camera aperture. The HTC Desire 10 pro counts with a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S4, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the HTC Desire 10 pro also has an external memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
HTC Desire 10 pro features just a little better battery performance than Galaxy S4, because it has a 15 percent greater battery capacity.
