The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has an overall score of 78.1, which is a little bit better than the HTC Desire 10 pro's general score of 74.3. The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus construction has the same thickness than the HTC Desire 10 pro, but it is a bit heavier. Both phones we are comparing here work with the same Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, so you shouldn't see any difference in that aspect.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus's processor is just as good as the processor in HTC Desire 10 pro, because although the Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has less CPU cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
