Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is slightly better than the HTC Desire 10 pro, getting a general score of 76.6 against 74.3. Even though the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is much newer than HTC Desire 10 pro, it's somewhat thicker and heavier. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has an older 10 version and HTC Desire 10 pro has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
HTC Desire 10 pro and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 both feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has 1 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 processing cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 counts with a screen that is very similar to the HTC Desire 10 pro one, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a quite worse amount of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a bigger screen and a quite better 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures greater pictures and videos than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a back facing camera with a way better 48 MP resolution, a bigger camera aperture and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality. HTC Desire 10 pro features a much greater storage for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the HTC Desire 10 pro also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a much better battery life than HTC Desire 10 pro, because it has a 67% larger battery capacity.
