The Xperia XA2 Plus is a little bit better than the HTC Desire 22 Pro, getting a 78.6 score against 73.6. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Xperia XA2 Plus has a more recent 8.0 Oreo version while HTC Desire 22 Pro has Android 12, providing you a lot of extra features. Although the Xperia XA2 Plus is extremely older and a little bit thicker than HTC Desire 22 Pro, it's body is still just a little bit lighter.
Xperia XA2 Plus has a much better display than HTC Desire 22 Pro, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little better pixels count per inch in the screen. Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a much better performing processing unit than HTC Desire 22 Pro, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a greater number of cores.
The Xperia XA2 Plus features more storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC Desire 22 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 400 GB. HTC Desire 22 Pro counts with greater battery performance than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 4520mAh of battery capacity against 3580mAh.
Sony Xperia XA2 Plus has a little bit better camera than HTC Desire 22 Pro, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light photography and a way worse 23 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
