The LG Nitro HD's CPU is very similar to the CPU in HTC Desire 500, and although the LG Nitro HD has a lower number of cores , they both have 1 GB of RAM. LG Nitro HD features a little sharper display than HTC Desire 500, because it has a way better resolution of 1280 x 720, a way greater screen pixels density and a quite bigger screen.

The LG Nitro HD features a superior camera than HTC Desire 500, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same resolution camera, the LG Nitro HD also counts with a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
