LG Nitro HD has a general score of 62.6, which is a bit better than HTC Desire 500's global score of 57.1. Despite being the best in our current comparison, LG Nitro HD is a just a little thicker and just a little heavier phone than the HTC Desire 500. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the LG Nitro HD has 2.3.5 version while HTC Desire 500 has Android 4.1.2 version.
The LG Nitro HD's CPU is very similar to the CPU in HTC Desire 500, and although the LG Nitro HD has a lower number of cores , they both have 1 GB of RAM. LG Nitro HD features a little sharper display than HTC Desire 500, because it has a way better resolution of 1280 x 720, a way greater screen pixels density and a quite bigger screen.
The LG Nitro HD features a superior camera than HTC Desire 500, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for capturing images and video in low-light situations, and they both have the same resolution camera, the LG Nitro HD also counts with a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition.
HTC Desire 500 counts with a quite bigger storage for applications and games than LG Nitro HD, and although they both have the same 4 GB internal storage, the HTC Desire 500 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 64 GB. The LG Nitro HD's battery lifetime is very similar to HTC Desire 500's battery life, although the LG Nitro HD also has 1830mAh of battery capacity.
The LG Nitro HD is not only the best phones in our comparison, but it's also very cheap compared to the other ones, making this phone a great choice.
