The Galaxy S4 has a score of 76.1, which is much better than HTC Desire 500's global score of 57.1. Galaxy S4 is a just a little bit heavier but thinner phone than the HTC Desire 500. These devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S4 has the newer 4.4.2 version and HTC Desire 500 has Android 4.1.2.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a more powerful processing unit than HTC Desire 500, and although they both have a Quad-Core processor, the Samsung Galaxy S4 also has a GPU and 1 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy S4 counts with a more vivid display than HTC Desire 500, because it has a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a bigger display and a way better screen pixel density.

Galaxy S4 counts with a greater camera than HTC Desire 500, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light images, it also counts with a much better 13 megapixels resolution camera and a much better video quality.
