Comparison review

The Xperia Ion has an overall score of 61.3, which is a little bit better than the HTC Desire 501's 56 score. Although it's the best cellphone in our current comparison, Xperia Ion's construction is just a little heavier and a little bit thicker than HTC Desire 501. The Sony Xperia Ion features a bit better hardware performance than HTC Desire 501, although it has doesn't have a GPU, they both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.

The Xperia Ion counts with a better screen than HTC Desire 501, because it has a lot higher 1280 x 720 resolution, way more pixels per inch of display and a quite bigger screen. The Xperia Ion counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than HTC Desire 501, and although they both have a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB, the Xperia Ion also has 16 GB internal memory.

HTC Desire 501 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Xperia Ion, because it has 2100mAh of battery capacity instead of 1900mAh. HTC Desire 501 counts with a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Ion, although it has a camera with much less megapixels.

The Xperia Ion not only is the best devices in our current comparison, but it's also a lot cheaper.
