Galaxy Nexus has an overall score of 64.3, which is a bit better than HTC Desire 510's score of 58.8. These phones come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Nexus has the previous 4.3 version while HTC Desire 510 has Android 4.4. Galaxy Nexus's body is thinner and lighter than the HTC Desire 510, even though it was released 3 years before.

HTC Desire 510 features a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the HTC Desire 510 also has a 64-bits CPU, a greater number of cores and a faster graphics co-processor working at 450 megahertz. Samsung Galaxy Nexus has a brighter screen than HTC Desire 510, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus also has a way higher 1280 x 720 resolution and a higher display pixel density.

The HTC Desire 510 features a superior memory for applications and games than Galaxy Nexus, because although it has only 8 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 128 GB. Samsung Galaxy Nexus shoots a lot better videos and photos than HTC Desire 510. They have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, a 5 MP resolution back-facing camera and the same video frame rates.

The HTC Desire 510 features longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Nexus, because it has a 2100mAh battery size instead of 1750mAh.
