The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is way better than HTC Desire 816's overall score of 65.1. Despite being the best cellphone in this comparison review, Samsung Galaxy Note 3's construction is just a little bit heavier and a little thicker than HTC Desire 816. These phones have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a more recent 5.0 version while HTC Desire 816 has Android 4.4.2, giving some nice extra features.

The Galaxy Note 3 has a much better looking display than HTC Desire 816, because it has a much higher 1920 x 1080 resolution, a better quantity of pixels per screen inch and a bit bigger screen. The Galaxy Note 3 counts with a little bit better performance than HTC Desire 816, and although they both have a Quad-Core processing unit and a 450 megahertz graphics co-processor, the Galaxy Note 3 also has 1,5 GB more RAM.

Galaxy Note 3 features a very superior memory to install games and applications than HTC Desire 816, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with improved battery duration than HTC Desire 816, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 2600mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a greater camera than HTC Desire 816, and although they both have the same resolution camera and a same size aperture, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a lot better (4K) video quality.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 costs a little more money than the HTC Desire 816, but you can get a much better phone for that extra dollars.
