The Motorola Moto G Play has a score of 71.3, which is just a bit better than the HTC Desire 816's 65.1 general score. Motorola Moto G Play's design is noticeably newer, but heavier and somewhat thicker than the HTC Desire 816. HTC Desire 816 counts with a more vivid screen than Motorola Moto G Play, although it has a bit less pixels per inch in the display, a quite lower 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and a little smaller display.
The Moto G Play has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than HTC Desire 816, because it has 32 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Moto G Play features a much better camera than HTC Desire 816, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same resolution back-facing camera, the Moto G Play also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and videos.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Motorola Moto G Play is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
