Galaxy S6 has a global score of 87.3, which is a lot better than the HTC Desire 816's score of 65.1. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 has newer 5.0 version and HTC Desire 816 has Android 4.4.2 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy S6 construction is newer, somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the HTC Desire 816.
Galaxy S6 counts with a superior processor than HTC Desire 816, because it has a 64-bit processing unit, a greater amount of RAM memory, a greater number of cores and a much better graphics co-processor working at 650 MHz. The Galaxy S6 counts with a greater camera than HTC Desire 816, because it has a back camera with a better 16 mega pixels resolution, a bigger diafragm aperture and a way better video quality.
Galaxy S6 and HTC Desire 816 feature really similar battery durations, although the Galaxy S6 has a 2% smaller battery size.
