Moto G Power has a general score of 76.1, which is slightly better than the HTC Desire 820's general score of 69.5. The Moto G Power works with Android 11 operating system, and HTC Desire 820 works with Android HTC Sense UI operating system. Although Moto G Power is a lot newer than HTC Desire 820, it is notably thicker and extremely heavier.

HTC Desire 820 features a little better hardware performance than Moto G Power, because although it has 2 GB less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the HTC Desire 820 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processor. HTC Desire 820 has a bit more vivid screen than Moto G Power, although it has a little bit smaller display, a lot lower screen pixel density and a way worse resolution of 1280 x 720px.

The Moto G Power has a way better camera than HTC Desire 820, because it has a way larger aperture to take better photography in low light environments, a better resolution back-facing camera and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
