Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has a general score of 72.1, which is slightly better than the HTC Desire EYE's 65.6 global score. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xiaomi Redmi Y1 has the newer 7.0 Nougat version while HTC Desire EYE has Android 4.4.4, offering lots of additional features. Xiaomi Redmi Y1 is a a lot newer cellphone, and it's also just a little thinner and a little bit lighter than HTC Desire EYE.
