The Xperia Ion has an overall score of 61.3, which is a little bit better than the HTC Desire X's overall score of 55.8. Both of these phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Ion has newer 4.1.2 version while HTC Desire X has Android 4.0, so it provides you lots of additional features. Although it's the best in this review, the Xperia Ion body is way heavier and thicker than the HTC Desire X.
The Xperia Ion has a bit more vivid screen than HTC Desire X, because it has a much better resolution of 1280 x 720px, a greater display density and a quite larger screen. Sony Xperia Ion features a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than HTC Desire X, and although they both have an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Sony Xperia Ion also has 16 GB internal storage.
Xperia Ion has a bit better CPU than HTC Desire X, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Xperia Ion also counts with a higher amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia Ion counts with a little bit better camera than HTC Desire X, because it has a much higher resolution back camera and a way better video definition.
Sony Xperia Ion has a little better battery performance than HTC Desire X, because it has a 15 percent more battery size.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, the Xperia Ion is also the cheapest one.
