The Samsung Galaxy S6 is a a lot newer and notably thinner device than the HTC Hero CDMA, although it's also a little bit heavier. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy S6 has a newer 5.0 version while HTC Hero CDMA has Android 2.1 version, providing you a couple nice extra features.
