Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a score of 78.7, which is slightly better than HTC One A9's global score of 72.1. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro design is newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than HTC One A9. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a slightly better display than HTC One A9, because it has a little bit bigger display, a higher 1440 x 2560px resolution and a just a bit better pixels count per screen inch.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit superior processor than HTC One A9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The HTC One A9 features much more storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has only 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a much longer battery life than HTC One A9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro takes a little bit better pictures and videos than HTC One A9, because although it has a camera with lesser mega-pixels and a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing images in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a much higher video resolution.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro costs a lot more money than the HTC One A9, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
