Huawei Mate X has an overall score of 89.4, which is way better than the HTC One A9's score of 72.1. Huawei Mate X is a noticeably newer device than HTC One A9, but it is extremely heavier and a lot thicker. Huawei Mate X counts with a superior processing unit than HTC One A9, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM.
Huawei Mate X counts with a slightly better looking screen than HTC One A9, because although it has a quite lower pixels amount in each inch of screen, it also counts with a way better 2200 x 2480px resolution and a way bigger display. The Huawei Mate X has a slightly better camera than HTC One A9, because it has a back facing camera with a much higher resolution and a bigger aperture to take better low-light images and video.
The Huawei Mate X features a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than HTC One A9, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei Mate X features a way better battery life than HTC One A9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC One A9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as HTC One A9. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate X, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the HTC One A9, giving up a couple specifications.
