The Galaxy A31 is better than the HTC One A9, getting an 81.3 score against 72.1. Galaxy A31 is a way newer cellphone than HTC One A9, although it's much heavier and thicker. The Galaxy A31 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than HTC One A9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy A31 also has more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy A31 and HTC One A9 have incredibly similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy A31 has a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a bigger display.
