Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) is just a bit better than HTC One A9, getting a score of 75.8 against 72.1. The Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) body is newer, but somewhat heavier and just a little thicker than HTC One A9. Galaxy A5 (2017) has a little better performance than HTC One A9. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and a 3 GB RAM memory.
HTC One A9 and Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) both feature extremely similar displays, because although the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has a little bit worse pixels number per inch in the screen, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, it also counts with a little larger display. Galaxy A5 (2017) takes slightly better pictures and videos than HTC One A9, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Galaxy A5 (2017) also has a more megapixels camera in the back and a bigger aperture to take better captures in poorly lited situations.
HTC One A9 has much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal memory, the HTC One A9 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) counts with a way better battery life than HTC One A9, because it has a 40 percent bigger battery size.
