The Galaxy S9 is better than HTC One A9, with an 83.3 score against 72.1. Galaxy S9 is a newer cellphone than the HTC One A9, although it is somewhat heavier and thicker. The Galaxy S9 has a better processor than HTC One A9, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S9 also has more RAM.
