Xperia 1 III is much better than the HTC One A9, getting a overall score of 93.3 against 72.1. Xperia 1 III is a notably newer phone than HTC One A9, although it is noticeably heavier and a bit thicker. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a superior hardware performance than HTC One A9, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a higher amount of RAM.
