Galaxy A50 has a score of 83.8, which is better than the HTC One A9's overall score of 71.3. The Galaxy A50 design is a little thicker and heavier than HTC One A9. Samsung Galaxy A50 has a quite better processing power than HTC One A9, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and a higher number of cores.
The HTC One A9 has a bit better screen than Galaxy A50, because although it has a lot smaller screen and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a little greater screen density. Samsung Galaxy A50 features a superior camera than HTC One A9, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also has a camera in the back with a much higher 25 megapixels resolution and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and video.
The Galaxy A50 has more storage capacity for apps and games than HTC One A9, because although it has an external SD slot that admits 1,45 TB smaller, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Galaxy A50 has a much longer battery life than HTC One A9, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy A50 costs a bit more than the HTC One A9, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
