The HTC One M9 has a general score of 77.7, which is much better than HTC One's global score of 70.6. The HTC One M9 is a noticeably newer and just a little bit thinner phone than HTC One, although it is also just a bit heavier. Both of these devices use the same Android 5.0 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't see any differences regarding that.

The HTC One M9 features a better processing unit than HTC One, because it has a greater number of faster cores, a 64 bits processing unit, a larger amount of RAM and a better 600 megahertz GPU. HTC One M9 counts with a little more vivid screen than HTC One, because although it has a little bit inferior number of pixels per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a bit bigger screen.

The HTC One M9 has a much better camera than HTC One, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not recommended for low light photos, it also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera in the back, a way bigger camera sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality and a way higher video resolution.

The HTC One M9 features a slightly bigger storage for apps and games than HTC One, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that allows up to 128 GB. HTC One M9 has superior battery performance than HTC One, because it has 2840mAh of battery capacity.

HTC One M9 costs a bit more money than the HTC One, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
