The Apple iPhone 14 Plus is way better than HTC One (M8), with a 92.2 score against 71.9. The Apple iPhone 14 Plus body is extremely newer and thinner, but notably heavier than the HTC One (M8). The Apple iPhone 14 Plus has iOS 16.x OS, and HTC One (M8) has Android 5.0 OS. IPhone 14 Plus has a quite superior processing power than HTC One (M8), because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a 64 bits CPU, more processing cores and more RAM.
